Lil Wayne to do a Year in Jail

Well the Hip Hop Police never seems satisfied. Now it strikes again with Weezy pleaded guilty to illegal gun possesion. He avoided a january trial where he would face up to 3 years if he was found guilty. Here's my opinion on this: I don't like how the law tries to categorize these celebrity like they are just another citizen. These celebs don't live a normal lifestyle like everybody else, its a lot of normal stuff that gets taken away with their celebrity status. I don't blame them for carrying handguns on them because as rapper's your gangsta card is on the line with every public appearance. They hire these big ol bodyguards to walk around with but they know that these big bodies can't stop bullets. I really want to know what the process is of registering your handgun in all 50 states. The gun Weezy had was registered in Mississippi, but not in New york where it was on his tour bus. It's a dillema that really bothers me, something has to give with the Hip Hop Police. Thats why Hov hired Ninja to protect him and Beyonce. LOL

I feel like i was under a rock at the concert yesterday. Before Lupe open the show my boy DJ Zeke (aka The Go-To Kid aka my no.1 not on radio right now) played this tune and everybody went crazy and i really didnt hear it before last night. After last night i heard it on the bus today and all of the sudden i hear it more now. Im feeling the way Weezy is pushing Young Money in 2009.



I also heard this today on the radio, DJ Envy was going in today, shouts out to DJ Envy. My boy Wes said Nikki is in his top 7 after she dropped her most recent mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty(go get it, its in stores now!!) I like this verse she did on this Drake track, Check it out if you havent heard it yet:

Here's another reason why you shouldn't get a tattoo! I can really imagine the thought process it took Weezy to wake up and realized: "Ugh let me get up and go get "A Gun" tatted on my right hand!!" LOL Forreal tho the scarf and sweater combo is a good look.

American Music Awards (ch 7 tonight) !!!!

I want to make sure everybody tunes in and watch as my boo,Alicia Keys, puts on another great performance. She really never disappoints when it comes to performing live. My boy Kanye gonna perform to and i can't wait to see that performance as well. Lil Wayne, Coldplay, Alicia Keys have the most Award Nominees and i hope Alicia Keys takes home the Artist of the Year and proves to all the haters that she is the new queen of R&B and let Beyonce hand over the reigns. LOL I got love for Beyonce too, but I feel like Alicia did the damn thang this year. Also Beyonce gonna perform too at this event so we will see who upstages who in the performance category. Sidebar Coldplay really go in and my other ex-boo Rihanna performing too, almost forgot to mention that!! LOL...

T-Pain is really on top of the Game!!!!

There was a time where i really felt that T-Pain was gonna be a one hit wonder. But for some reason he kept coming with more hits and more hits(i couldn't believe how he was on the radio). Fast Forward to 2008 and you have to give him the respect that he deserves. Most people who wanted a hit, just threw T-Pain on it and that was it. He truly is dedicated to being a legend in Hip-Hop. Theres no possible way you can go to a party and not here T-Pain. T-Pain is at the point in his career where everything he get on is a hit. We will never hear from 2 Pistols again, i can put the house on that!!LOL But best believe when she got it come on the ladies go crazy!!! I copped the Epiphany album and that album was really tough. I know this new album is even better. Chopped and Screwed with my boy Ludacris is dope track, and Freeze with Chris Brown is dope 2.
Sidebar I need everybody to listen to T-Pain track called Karaoke, forreal he really went in and showed his rapping skills, he destroyed anybody who swaggerjacked him with the vocoder(minus Weezy and Yeezy). That track soooo DOPE!!! Yo put it like this if you aint up on the T-Pain bandwagon, you need to get ya ticket, because i really don't see this ride ending no time soon. Here is the video to Karaoke, its even better to see the video!!!!!! LOL at the chinese man tryna sing Can't Believe it!!!! He toooooo funny.
