Its definitely beef/ competition with Apple's iPad now that this German company Neofonie GmbH dropped their WePad. The WePad has an 11.6in screen which is bigger than the 9.7in iPad has. Its also powered by an Intel chip and relies on a Linux software. The place where I feel it's definitely defecating on the iPad is with the webcam. Some reason Apple always seems to miss a minor detail in it's products. For example a simple flash for the iPhone is all that is really missing to make the iPhone a superior phone. The WePad also comes with two usb ports. Great Thinking on Neofonie behalf for capitalizing on the iPad's missing components. Check out the video on the WePad

Album Review: Attention:Deficit

Wow where do I start?? I been following and supporting Wale for a couple years now, it’s unfortunate that I can’t say I was there supporting his music from the beginning but when I was introduce to his music by a DMV* belle, XOXO Hadi, one day at my apt at school it was something I connected with instantly. There was something special and unique about his wordplay and delivery that had me captivated. He had me questioning in my head like “Who is this guy? He is actually nice, who is he signed to? Is he really from DC??“ Uptown Roamers was actually the first track I heard I and even though I had never visit the DMV* area to know what areas he was talking about I just like how well the song was put together. As much as I didn’t want to tell XOXO Hadi who had introduced me to Wale’s music I became an instant fan.

I was exposed to Wale again when I attended Jordan Brand All American Game at MSG and Wale performed “Nike Boots” the sound system was bad so all we could hear was the hook. I went back to school and clowned Wale to XOXO Hadi. I definitely went on to YouTube and listen to the track and was thrown away by how creative this dude was with his words. I later told my boys like “Yo that Nike Boots track is nice bra!!” Laughter later followed but I was dead serious but sometimes you can’t beat something over the head of your friends sometimes so I fell back but kept listening to Wale. Fast forward a little bit to the first mixtape I downloaded “Mixtape about Nothing” certified classic mixtape, with that under my belt I went full promotion telling everybody that I could about Wale. Some of my friends responded with “Who Dat??” and then there was some who said “Oh yeah I heard of him he from DC, Nike Boots guy.” I remember introducing W.A.L.E.D.A.N.C.E. to my little brother and that was when he began to take Wale serious.

Who would of thought it would be the same little brother who had the vision to notice that Wale was in Penn Station and was about to walk right past us. I told my brother “Yo dude looks just like Wale!! [Points finger at Wale]” My brother responds “Nigga that is Wale…Wale!!!” Wale turns and looks, “Oh shit that’s really him.” By this time I became a real big fan already so I didn’t know what to say. We walk up to Wale and shakes hand with him. My brother says to Wale”Im a fan of your music, keep working hard bra.” I remember posting it “Easter Update” post of that whole event on here.

Then fast forward to my roommate Mike V finding tickets for a Wale show in the city. I went with the roommates to his show. Great show got my first look at J Cole at this show. I got a dollar bill signed by Wale this helped me get over not taking a picture with him at Penn Station. Then I got the Back to the Feature mixtape and that was another great mixtape, so as avid fan I had to go back and get every mixtape that he ever released [All quality mixtapes if I may say]. I take a trip to the DMV area to visit XOXO Hadi with my little brother and we go to this club with my brother Club Fur I think and come to find out Wale is set to perform there too. Wale goes and performs and these chicks start fighting and I really applaud security they got both of them girls out of there fast as hell. Talk about sweating out weave!!! Then came performances at the VMA’s, BET Awards and other public appearances where I would receive texts from the Nwosu twins just to brag about their Naija superstar. They had good reason too because of extreme progress Wale was making throughout the industry. Till this day I laugh when I get a text from them pertaining Wale. That was my only thing that I could confess that was great that came out of DMV, even though they have talented R&B artists. But back to this album review, you see how I catch ADD myself lol.

Now the album drops Attention: Deficit, and it’s such a surreal feeling that the artist I was promoting to everybody I could finally made it and his album is out. Though it got undershipped to most Targets and Best Buy, I get my hands on a copy so now it’s time. I believe in Wale enough that I know he will always spit some heat on tracks. After hearing the album I must say he made a great album. It’s so much diversity on this album you got your hard tracks “Triumph”, “Mirrors” and “TV in the Radio”. Then you have your club songs “Chillin” and “Pretty Girls”, melodic feel good tracks “World Tour”, “Mama Told Me”, “Beautiful Bliss”; murky and gloomy tracks “Contemplate”, “90201”, and “Diary”; and last but not least African music inspired track “My Sweetie” which contains a sample from Let Me Love You by Bunnie Mack. This album requires close listening to fully understand the words surgeon of an artist that you have with Wale. The metaphors are impressive but he can also depict stories for you, like in “90201” he talks about a female who is bulimic, addicted to cocaine, and chasing a dream of being a celebrity. Then you have “Diary” who about a girl who is just too hurt to love Wale back, while Wale is trying to show her his eternal love to her. Also have to note the amazing spoken word towards the end of the track. Another nice tale that I found most really relate to is “Shades” where he raps about Wale growing up being alienated because he was Nigerian and not being accepted by his African American peers in school. One of my brother’s favorite track because he grew up being the dark, always ashy-peasie-head little kid, while I was the brown skin older brother with the nice hair lol. Another aspect of the album is the soulful feel it breathes off.

With features from Chrisette Michelle, Jazmine Sullivan, Melanie Fiona, and Marsha Ambrosius that is an amazing soulful lineup. I adore each and every one of them and they all provided great features to Attention: Deficit. Then you have pleasant features from Pharell, J Cole, K’Naan, Bun-B, Weensey from Backyard Band, and Gucci Mane. I really have to note that J Cole bodied Beautiful Bliss, K’Naan surprised me with his feature on TV in the Radio, I heard of his music but he definitely impressed me with his wordplay “I’m Somalia so that just mean I’m trying to eat bread/ F*ck with my people well that’s call the Heath Ledge”. Gucci was a nice addition to Pretty Girls and he did sound comfortable on the go-go inspired production. With all that said in a place where real Hip Hop is in a recession Wale brings us our 16 track stimulus package. Like he says in “Prescription”: “They itching for a new breath well here’s the calamine/ and I refuse to camouflage with other guys.” I couldn’t put it any better than that.

Blame my homegirl Ebi for pushing me to make this post, I hope you find this post intriguing and please go out and support Wale and get the album, it was really under shipped by his management but it should be in stores by now don’t let the first week numbers(he sold 28k) discourage you. It’s really a great album.

So last night was the PACSA Fashion Show and I had to make an appearance and show support for my boy Drae who happens to be the President of PACSA. I was scheduled to be the host but I chose not to this year, even though I definitely had some funny jokes for the crowd. My homegirl Yali hooked us alumni's with some VIP front row seats had me feeling special lol. It was a hugging spree as soon as I stepped in the building. I got to see most of the group that I called my family that I really don't get to see that much. Boy did it feel good to be around everybody. I just miss making everybody laugh and laughing along with them. I was having a ball in the front row, i didnt know how to act. Especially with DJ Zeke on the 1s n 2s. I ran across this article as soon as i got on the computer and Man ol Man did this spark some much needed energy out of me. lol the article is about relationships and the 14 mistakes women make that they wish they didn't. I took out some that were really good. Disclaimer: The ones i choosed may not be associated with me and my past relationships but it is from relationships that i have viewed or heard about. Here some of the ones that got me saying AMEN:

1. Thinking we'll never get over him. We will. Two months and several powdered donuts later... we'll feel better.(Pause)
B's Take: This is the truth and is one of the reasons as a man you can't settle we got to keep pushing the envelope in the relationship, the last thing you want is for her best friend all in her ear telling her "You know you can do better than him. or There's better fish out in the sea."

2. Spying. Hacking into email or phones looking for suspicious messages and then yelling at him for the "k thnx bye" text he sent to his female coworker two months ago.
B's take: definite no no, 9 out 10 times you will find what you are looking for. If you dont find anything and are found running thru stuff den who wears the DUNCE CAP??? YOU!!!

5. Expecting too much. Putting so much energy into the idea of a fairy-tale romance that we're disappointed with anything less. B's take: I would hope we all are at the stage where we know theres no such thing as a perfect relationship. right??

10. Using the silent treatment. Our partners can't read our minds; he won't know what's wrong unless we sack up and tell him. B's take: AMEN AMEN HALLELUJAH!! I mean this is for guys and girls though. I know im guilty of it but forreal thats like trying to complete a test with no pen/pencil. You know you know the answers to the problem but you never gonna get credit for it unless you put it down. The teacher can't tell you know it if you handing in a blank test.

12. Standing alone. Thinking that depending on someone else is a weakness. Leaning on someone else sometimes is the sign of a healthy relationship.
B's take: See Beyonce set everyone back with her songs about independence. Imma end it right there. lol

13. Over-analyzing. There's analysis and then there's over-analysis. Wondering why the fiance didn't call once during his bachelor weekend in Vegas? A legitimate case for analysis. Wondering why he only called twice and not three times during a guys' night out? Not so much.
B's Take: This is the #1 relationship killer because it leads to trust issues. Fellas check it at the door if ya lady is on that Over-analyzing most times she just dont trust you. I seen it on MTV True Life so trust me on this one. lol

What you think of this?? Some may say Wal-Mart is just staying in front of the curve or are they up to they "Monopolizing ways" again. I choose the latter option but thats just me. I told my mom about Wal-Mart selling caskets online now and her first response is "im going to buy one for everybody in the family!" Its funny but if she is thinking that, i can just imagine everybody else in America. This move may potentially hurt the casket game though. Casket prices are crazy expensive. Take a look at it in a business way, if Wal-mart becomes successful with the selling online it would force the casket business to lower prices to compete with Wal-Mart. We may be looking at the greatest business decision right here. By the time im ready to call it quits in this world my casket might be in the range of $400 or even less. Can you picture that??? It makes you wonder what is next for wal-mart?? I hope its cars, i would be the first in line for a Wal-Mart influence price for a Black Range Rover in the future. BET Cyphers: Best Part of the BET Awards

The one above was by far my favorite one but that was a classic one. Watching the ciphers from this year's Ciphers i got to say Nikki Minaj held her shit down. She flamed everybody but Joe Buddens, he clearly cleaned up that whole cipher. I know you caught the Hov shot he threw at the end. "Im a student of the game, not a teacher's pet!!" I would love for these two to battle real talk. Most would say Hov would thrash Buddens but i think they both would have equal research to flame each other. But back to Nikki Minaj she was showing me signs of Lil Wayne with her delivery but that comes from being in the studio with Weezy prolly. Game 1 is of course tonight and rumor has it that Hov and Alicia Keys will not perform in game 1 as planned. Hov has obligations to be at a concert in Ohio. He was gonna do some Millionaire ish and perform at game 1 and hop on a jet and get to his concert on time. But due to the real crappy weather the tri-state is dealing with that might not go down. He said that he will perform though not game 1 but i think game 2 but im not sure. Oh well the show must go on. My favorite baseball team is back where we like to call home hahah the World Series. What better way to win the World Series by dethroning last year's World Series winners the Philadelphia Philly's. CC Sabathia and Cliff Lee takes the mound today for their squads. These two were once on the same Cleveland Indian team that were one game away of defeating the Boston Red Sox back in 2007. I really can't wait for this game. I got to be the worst Yankee fan. I never really watch baseball unless its the playoffs. Last year was the first year i would watch baseball games and that was because i was playing Fantasy Baseball. I can definitely say though i've have watched every World Series that they were in since 1995. Tune in and for the Mets fans out there I know this World Series is gonna hurt more especially with Pedro Martinez pitching.

I ran across this story and i had to keep reading on. Its a very curious case here. Let me make a long story short, pretty much a Father-in Law is accused of killing his daughter's husband. Supposedly they had beef. What the father in law defense is that he was pretty much way too fat to have committed the crime. At the time of the murder he weighed in at 285lbs and was in such bad physical shape that couldn't have pulled off the shooting or the fast getaway the killer made. There was a flight of steps that he had to run up and down. I like stories like this because it taps into the CSI/ criminal lawyer that is in me. The Son in law was on the phone with his girlfriend(divorced the father in law daughter) and the girlfriend called the cops ASAP after she heard the Son-in-Law scream. Cops arrived within minutes.(white neighborhood..lol..hey its true) So the defense attorney says that the father in law could not have been the murderer and killed the man and clean up the scene and got out of the scene within minutes before the police came. Its a crazy court case but who is to say he didn't have an accomplice with him. Let's just say that he had a friend with him who did all the work for him and the fat guy was just there to point him out. its a thought.

Well the Hip Hop Police never seems satisfied. Now it strikes again with Weezy pleaded guilty to illegal gun possesion. He avoided a january trial where he would face up to 3 years if he was found guilty. Here's my opinion on this: I don't like how the law tries to categorize these celebrity like they are just another citizen. These celebs don't live a normal lifestyle like everybody else, its a lot of normal stuff that gets taken away with their celebrity status. I don't blame them for carrying handguns on them because as rapper's your gangsta card is on the line with every public appearance. They hire these big ol bodyguards to walk around with but they know that these big bodies can't stop bullets. I really want to know what the process is of registering your handgun in all 50 states. The gun Weezy had was registered in Mississippi, but not in New york where it was on his tour bus. It's a dillema that really bothers me, something has to give with the Hip Hop Police. Thats why Hov hired Ninja to protect him and Beyonce. LOL

Paranormal Acitivity Review

So I went out this weekend and watched Paranormal Activity with some of my friends. I was hearing mixed reviews and watching the movie i could see why. I felt like this was going the route Cloverfield went. You know the weird documentary you wonder how the camera is always rolling when you think if that was you that you woulda dropped the camera and bounced if you were the cameraman. With Paranormal Acitivity in the beggining it was real weak, I guess from anticipation everybody felt that there was gonna be a scary part in every scene. The director was just setting up everything for us though. As the movie goes on it gets real crazy and (as much as I dislike using the word but in fact)scary. I yelled(real men never scream lol) about a good 9 times and jumped out of my seat at the end. I would reccommend everybody to go out and see it. When i got home from the movie, i was paranoid around my own house. I also was hesitant to look up if the movie was in fact based of true events. Anyway go out to the MOVIE THEATERS and watch this movie, you will be cheating yourself if you get this on bootleg.

Let me start off by stating that for most Quarterbacks playing in the snow can cause a lot of difficulties. The Football becomes slippery, the snow messes up your footing when you go to the throw ball, and even your vision is altered from the snow coming down. Tom Brady is not like most quarterbacks. In the second quarter of the Patriots vs Titans game, Brady reeled off 5 touchdown passes. Most quarterback can't get to that amount in a whole game, matter a fact its not too many quarterbacks who have tossed 5 Touchdown passes in one game in their entire career. Just an amazing feat to accomplish in my opinion.

I was watching the coverage of this and I couldn't help but think that kid will be on every talk show when he lands. I started watching when the 6 yr old boy was up at about 11.000 ft. The boy and his family was featured on Wife Swap, his father Richard Keene is known to be a mad scientist. Update as I am writing this, the kid was not found in the balloon. WHAT THE??? Where did he go??? WOW I will be back with an update.

As a devout Denver Broncos fan it feels good to have my team as one of the only 2 teams in the AFC with an undefeated record of 5-0. Having the crazy offseason that we had everybody in football society had wrote Denver off. The offseason was a wild one indeed, and it pushed me to the limit as a fan. I felt that with the firing of Mike Shanahan was not in good taste due to the fact that we finished 8-8, and we had about 5 running backs injured. With a couple offseason key additions Corey Buckhalter and Brian Dawkins I felt that we were on a good track. Then came the dilemma with Jay Cutler and the new coach Josh McDaniels, which led to us trading our "Franchise Quaterback Jay Cutler" and received some draft picks and...Kyle Orton. At first I didn't like Orton for our quarterback but I felt like base on his last year stats that he was coming into a great situation. He was surrounded by a plethora of weapons with Brandon Marshall, Eddie Royal, Brandon Stokley, Tony Scheffler, Corey Buckhalter, Peyton Hillis, and Knowshon Moreno. Going from throwing to an unestablished receiver/elite return specialist (Devin Hester), and a rookie halfback (Matt Forte) and a good tight end(Greg Olsen) to those weapons I named is like going to quarterback heaven. Denver had a rough start going 1-3 in the preseason. During that time these dilemmas with our Franchise WR(B Marshall), which you can refer to my previous post about him and that situation. Even after all of that I was still excited to see the new system and new defense. At 5-0 Denver is finally getting the respect that they deserve. The defense is one of the best in the league and Kyle Orton has been playing great football. He threw his first interception of the year last game but it was a hial mary pass which Randy Moss picked off(which was his only catch of the day s/o Champ Bailey) The rest of the schedule is still tough but i think Denver Broncos really believe in themselves and this system. I am content but Monday night vs rival's Sand Diego Chargers will be tough, hopefully we win.

Supposedly our game USC versus Ohio State is the matchup of the week. I begged to differ. There's been a lot of talk about if we smash and thrash Ohio State this year with our "True Freshmen" quarterback that it will make a statement that Big 10 conference is weak. I also begged to differ. Reason being from what i seen and know is that Penn State is the returning Conference Champs and they also looked more impressive in Week 1. As for our "True Freshmen", i think its pretty hard to be called a true freshmen when you were the No1 overall player in your class, and especially when you have about 4 good backs to hand it off too, and a good receiving corp in your Wide Receivers and Tight End, and your line is experienced. But the kid was made for the spotlight and we will see come Saturday. Like i been saying all week tune in for that Notre Dame vs Michigan game, that will be the game of the week.

B's Sports Locker: Football season

Is it me or is the football season moving like molasses. I remember i didn't know what molasses was but i definitely agreed with whatever the person was trying to imply. Im a big USC fan and i feel like this particular college football season is taking forever to begin. Today i received bad news that Ronald "RoJo" Johnson will be out with a broken collarbone until mid October. He got injured in a team scrimmage by an under thrown ball by Matt "Born Ready" Barkley. (Sorry Lance) This is a big loss for USC but only in my mind. I understand we have 5 star players waiting in the chamber ready to be unleashed but I feel with RoJo going down, we lose a Receiver with college game experience, who also has great speed and instinct. The luxury that USC has is that it has two five-star wide receivers who will have to take their game up another notch and will be counted upon to take snaps. Congrats goes out to Matt "Born Ready" Barkley for winning the starting job and placing his name in the USC record books for being the first true freshmen to start in USC History. He is surrounded by so much talent that i hope he will be comfortable out there. Its a great position to be in, especially knowing that USC returns all the offensive linemen from a year ago. Then in the backfield you have the powerful runner in Stafon Johnson, speedy back in Joe McKnight, balanced back in CJ Gable, and Allen Bradford will probably see some snaps as well. On the other side of the ball the defense has a lot to prove to the nation. Taylor Mays doesn't have much to prove to the nation, because he has already earn the respect from everybody except for my boy RC, who still doesn't see what everybody else see in Taylor "Guillotine" Mays. I just want the season to just hurry up and get here already. Is there anybody else out there who feels the same way.

Sidebar: I also have to put this in that i want everybody to be on the lookout for Raymond Graham this year at University of Pittsburgh. He is gonna make some noise this year on the gridiron. He just might grab that Big East Freshmen of the Year award too at the end of season but that remains to be seen. I rather let his play and stats do the talking for me. Today in my sports world i have to vent about so much sports related topics, ya might as well "kiss the baby". Go Ahead.... Let's start off with T.Owens Jr. aka Brandon Marshall. Let me get this out the way I do respect his wishes of getting a new contract but the manner he is going about it is definitely not professional and this is what makes me mad. The actions on the practice, wanting to get traded, and the sensitivity he carries around its just sickening as a Bronco fan to see that. Its no wonder why Joey Porter got all in his head last year. B Marsh got little kids who look up to him and this is not how you carry yourself as a professional. When you get to the league there is a certain way you are suppose to carry yourself. I feel during the time where Mike Shanahan got fired and Jay Cutler got traded, B Marsh has loss sight of that. I really hope he doesn't get traded, I rather we keep him and he doesn't play the whole year, and especially its his last year in his contract so he will lose all leverage in the free agency market because teams will give him the label as a prima dona and a cancer in the locker room. He will pretty much have an NFL version of Allen Iverson free agent period in which it will be tough to find a team that will put up with that.

For those who don't watch Sportscenter, this story was a touching story that brought tears to my eyes. It was on Outside the Lines segment, i think 2 weeks back. Its always nice to see people overcome obstacles in life. It also reminds everyone that we should be thankful for what we have and to be happy that we are not in a terrible situation. I hope that this inspires everyone to have faith in whatever they want to be in life.

YouTube is really a great source if you tryna get a laugh. People post the funniest videos. This prank would get anybody in Linden, especially every single friend of mine. Linden is currently in a rodent epidemic with families of skunks, possums, and raccoons being everywhere u turn at night and in the daytime. LOL I woulda caught a heart attack to keep it real funky with you. I hate skunks, possums and raccoons and i really don't know there purpose in America's society.

I use to make everybody laugh back in middle school by doing this. I use to act like someone would hit me with the door in the hallway. Teachers, students, and friends all fell victim to my prank. I kept doing it all the way until Sophomore year in College.

It was kind of sad to see that his album leaked like a good 2 weeks before it was suppose to be in stores but the only way to see if it hurts Loso is by his number sales. I expect this album sell due to the bangin singles he got out. We got to go out and support Real Hip Hop everybody.

This post is for both the ladies and the fellas. Its the summertime so you know the sun is gonna be out, with the sun being out comes one of the worst thing a human can do, and that is squint because the sun is in their eyes.For example, have you ever been out and you looking for a street and ask someone for directions and they turn around and look at you like this:

Well here is a vital accessory that you need so you don't get laugh at next time someone ask you for directions. Also ladies i think its so fly to see a lady in a nice pair of shades and they don't always have to be New-New Huge either. Like i remember i went to Dorney Park and i seen this girl with some Ray-Bans on and i thought that was like the perfect accessory with her bathing suit. Well here it is:

1st Ray-Bans Wayfarer: The most diverse pair you can cop real talk. These all black ones can be wore with anything and at any occasion(party, cookout, funerals, and just stepping out to the grocery store) These go for about +$100 but a cough cough you can find replicas that will do the same job for a lesser price.

You got to get you some Mirrored Aviators. These are great for the nosey people who like to look at things and not get caught. This goes for the ladies too, ya know ya be checking other girls outfits so get you a pair of these and it will serve as a security blanket because nobody will know who you looking at. I got my mirrored Aviators for like $10 at H&M.

Another must have are a pair of white sunglasses. Its so easy to find sunglasses but its hard to find one that fits you and adds to your overall look. Don't get to addicted to Sunglasses though you don't want end up like Rick Ross. I say that because Rick Ross looks mad weird when he doesn't have his sunglasses on and i think it dues to him always having sunglasses on and people got use to seeing him with them on.

Like i told ya before im always on the prowl for clothes with the letter B in it. This one is a must cop, its by Benjamin Bixby aka Andre 3 stacks clothing line. My brother did a lil research after seeing this and he said the p rices are going down on the Bixby line which means great news for me and you. lol Here is another bonus Bixby that i wouldn't mind pulling out the closet.

Shaun Livingston would've went to DUKE and played for 2-3 years and got his weight up and got tutor under the guidance of one of the best college coaches in the NCAA history in Coach K at Duke. He was the best PG in the nation at the time. 6'7 and 178 lbs and he was rated the no 2 recruit in the nation, behind Dwight Howard and in front of Josh Smith. As a Duke fan i feel that his decision was a bad one and had he come to Duke he would went to war against the likes of Chris Paul and Ray Felton and if he would've did his thang aginst them he would have entered the 2005 Draft which seen only 3 PG's get taken in the 1st Round. Another option could have been to enter in the 2006 Draft which in my mind is a very week draft if you take a look at the top 10 picks. Five of them are really making noise for there clubs(Foye, Roy, Gay, Tyus Thomas, Lamrcus Aldridge) So its a real sad story but he still in the league and there is no harsh feelings as a Duke fan eventhough he messed up our recruiting a little bit.

sidebar i just checked out the rankings for 2004 seniors and Dave Mcclure was ranked 86th in the nation. Im sorry he was the most trash player ever to wear a Duke jersey. lol i got to see his high school tapes. smh
